Harsh Realities is derived from our own Founder, Art Director, and President's surname of Harshbarger. While trying to 'grow up' he found that life held a certain unavoidable roughness that soon became his reality. The name of the company was founded when his sister was joking with him about said reality and mentioned that life was 'harsh' sometimes. Years later it is still sticking and HR is turning out the wild imaginings of Harsh and his cohorts in the form of fun RPGs for everyone.

Harsh is a born again Christian and takes this commitment seriously. You will find that every game and product put out by Harsh Realities will in some way mention, teach, or glorify God the Father and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as a way of ministering to all as per the 'great commission' in Matthew 28.
